"vinod's high expectations of himself caused his downfall".to wht extent do u agree with this analysis of vinods predicament and tragedy.
Vinod had been competitive in his day to day life and he had always wanted to be very fast in doing things.His parents had taught him all that when he was younger and now he had followed their footsteps,but vinod had go into depression but his parents did not.His high expectations was one main caused but there are other factors leading to it to.
Firstly,saloma was the person whom vinod had been relying on he treated saloma like a stray kitten found in the expressway.When saloma found a job and applied for a bank vinod felt that he couldnt understand her anymore because he had been always the one protecting her and if she didnt like it he would bring it away from her.saloma was his centre.
secondly,vinod was a literature top student many student always copied or photocopied his work and get their A's thanks to him.He felt that the university graduates were just a bunch of moronic idiots whom job was just to photocopy.He had really given up on studies ever since his break down.
thirdly,was his NS he was bullied by the sirs and platoon commander there .he said "i got balls sir" and kept on repeating it.He was supposed to go attend c because he is mentally unsound and that made them disturd him alot.
